Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 1, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Egram Webtech ("we," "us," or "our"), the operator of QuickPlug (quickplug.ng), collects, uses, shares and protects your information when you use the Platform. By using QuickPlug, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us:

  • Name, email address and phone number when you register;
  • A transaction PIN, stored in encrypted/hashed form, used to authorize purchases and withdrawals;
  • Details you enter to complete a purchase, such as a meter number, smart card number, phone number to recharge, or exam type;
  • Bank account details you provide when requesting a withdrawal;
  • Content you submit when completing or posting a micro-job task.

Information collected automatically:

  • Device and browser information (such as browser type), used to recognize your device on future logins and alert you to logins from an unrecognized browser;
  • IP address, used for approximate location display in security notifications and to apply anti-fraud limits (such as limiting how many accounts can be created from the same network in a short period);
  • Transaction and activity logs — deposits, purchases, withdrawals, task submissions, referral activity — needed to operate your wallet and resolve disputes.

Information from third parties:

When you fund your wallet or receive a payout, our payment partners (such as our bank-transfer and card-payment processors) share transaction confirmation data with us so we can credit your wallet correctly.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account and wallet;
  • To process deposits, purchases, withdrawals, cashback, bonuses and referral rewards;
  • To verify your email address and identity where required before allowing certain actions;
  • To send you service notifications (such as purchase receipts, security alerts for logins from a new device, and verification emails);
  • To detect, investigate and prevent fraud, multiple-account abuse, and other misuse of the Platform;
  • To respond to your support requests;
  • To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not use your transaction PIN for anything other than authorizing your own actions, and we never ask for it over email, phone or chat.

4. How We Share Your Information

We share information only as needed to operate the Platform:

  • With payment and virtual-account partners, to fund your wallet and process withdrawals;
  • With VTU and bill-payment providers, to deliver the airtime, data, cable, electricity, exam PIN or recharge card you purchase;
  • With email and notification providers, to deliver account and security emails;
  • With law enforcement or regulators, where required by Nigerian law or to protect the Platform and its users from fraud.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypting sensitive data such as your transaction PIN, requiring email verification before certain wallet actions, and monitoring for unusual login activity. No system is completely secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and keep your PIN confidential.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and transaction information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period after that where needed to resolve disputes, comply with legal or regulatory obligations, or enforce our Terms of Service.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the details below, subject to our need to retain certain information for legal, security or accounting reasons (such as a record of a completed transaction).

8. Cookies and Local Storage

We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you logged in, remember your display preferences (such as whether your wallet balance is shown or hidden), and understand how the Platform is used so we can improve it.

9. Children's Privacy

QuickPlug is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone not legally permitted to hold an account under Nigerian law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
